PSY 360 Psychology of Religion


A study of religion from a psychological perspective. Topics include historic development of the psychology of religion, cognitive science of religion, religious development across the lifespan, aspects of religious conversion and experiences, varieties of religious orientation, attitudes, and behaviors, the relationship between religion and personality, and research and assessment methods in the study of the psychology of religion. Prerequisite(s): PSY 100 . Offered spring semester on odd years. 3 hour(s).
