This course is an illustrated study of the history and theory surrounding art production of late modernism and postmodernism. The history of art criticism in western culture has its roots in the ancients; emphasis will be on the study of structuralism, feminist criticism, post-structuralism and multiculturalism as it is formulated in the language of literary and art criticism.
