ART 443 Advanced Digital Photography: the Constructed Image

This advanced studio course attempts to address the question why art photographers feel the need to construct an image. Through the use of digital technology and instruction in field and studio lighting, and post-production students will explore the problems associated with constructing images. Additional emphasis will be given to the study of historical and ethical photographic problems related to the medium. Prerequisite(s): ART 340 or permission of instructor. Six hours studio.
