NSC 109 Concepts in Environmental Biology This course is designed to fulfill the core laboratory science requirement for non-science majors. At the core of environmental stewardship is treating God’s gifts responsibly. This is an old idea (e.g. Deuteronomy 23:22) and stewarding the environment in particular has become a prominent political, cultural, and economic concern for humanity. Environmental Science provides us with evidence for many of the major challenges we face globally, and it provides some solutions (and predictions for what is likely to happen if we pursue no particular solution at all). This course will explore many of the problems (and some solutions) and address faithful responses to our call to be good stewards of creation. Laboratory Fee: $92. 4 hour(s). LAB
