POL 355 Federalism and Separation of Powers

This course studies the text and structure of the Constitution, statutes, court decisions, government documents, and major writings regarding the shared and separate power among the branches of the federal government, and the shared and separate power between the federal government and state governments. The course will also examine how these relationships have evolved over time, and what phenomena gave rise to the changing nature of these relationships. Prerequisite(s): POL 202.
