COS 492 Capstone Project in Computer Science

An independent study required of all students majoring in computer science. The capstone has two major parts:

a portfolio of reflection papers developed over the student’s time at Covenant designed to provide insight on: vocation in the computing field, a Christian perspective on vocation, and theology of computing. Also, a yearly reflection on why they are studying CS at Covenant College.
a paper or project in which the student will explore and analyze a topic related to the student’s area of interest in computer science in light of a Christian worldview.

Prerequisite(s): a complete portfolio, COS 230, COS 260, Senior standing and approval by the instructor. 2 hour(s).
