PHY 421 Advanced Mechanics

Advanced topics in mechanics are examined possibly including: coupled oscillations, calculus of variations, generalized coordinates, Lagrangian and Hamiltonian dynamics, rigid-body motion, and/or motion in non-inertial reference frames.
