MUS 220 Songwriting

A study of basic songwriting styles, principles, and techniques, including melodic invention, lyric development, harmonic progression, and large-scale form. Students will write, record, and present the results of their creative work. Prerequisite(s): Rudimentary abilities for reading music and playing an instrument. 3 hour(s).
