ECO 348 Microfinance

A course exploring microfinance programs in the context of less developed countries. Students will be introduced to the complex range of economic, social, and institutional issues facing microfinance and microenterprise agencies and will be instructed in the financial, organizational, and managerial dimensions of starting and operating a microfinance program. The course will also examine microfinance programs in the context of holistic church-based ministries. Pre- or Co-requisite(s): ECO 202 , CDV 210 . 3 hour(s). DIV.
