NSC 120 Science and Stewardship
As Christians living in the midst of an increasingly complicated age, this course will present several important science and technology issues necessary for all of us to understand and live in the world God has made. Topics will include energy usage, electricity production, automobile choices, as well as how to choose appliances in one’s home. Science will be used as we seek to understand how our choices in how we live, transport ourselves and work impacts the world around us. All subjects will be looked at in light of our being stewards of God’s creation, and how we should respond in light of that call. 3 hours lecture; 2 hours lab. Prerequisite(s): Fulfillment of the core math requirement or a math placement level of 3 or greater. Laboratory fee: $30. 4 hour(s). LAB
