ECO 415 International Finance


A course that examines output, price levels, exchange rates, and the balance of payments for economies that are integrated with the global economy. Short run and long run determination of exchange rates will be discussed as well as different exchange rate regimes, international financial crises, the role of the International Monetary Fund, and currency unions. Applications will be made to major historical and/or current issues in the international financial system. Prerequisite(s): ECO 201 , ECO 202 . 3 hour(s). GA.
