ENG 105 Poetry and Christian Imagination
Only available through the Summer Institute. An introduction to reading, writing, understanding, and enjoying poetry, particularly in its capacity to embody and evoke Christian imagining. Addressing a selection of poets and poetic forms, students will practice analyzing, discussing, and writing about poetry, as well as writing some poetry of their own. In all of these activities we will explore how poetic imagination can enliven and enrich our love for God, His world, and the humans who bear his image. 1 hour(s).
