HIS 198 Reading Seminar in U.S. History I


A reading seminar course on general themes and topics in U.S. history to 1865. The course will be a guided first-year seminar class to introduce students to important topics, themes, and historiographical questions in American history prior to the end of the American Civil War.  Prerequisite(s): a declared history major or minor or permission of the instructor. Credit may be earned for HIS 111  or HIS 198, but not both. 3 hour(s).
