PHI 102 Introduction to Logic and Critical Thinking

A study of the identification, analysis, and evaluation of arguments and of what it means to think critically. While much of the course will focus on the logic of categorical terms and basic propositional logic (i.e. the logic of truth functions), some significant attention will also be given to informal fallacies, nonargumentative rhetorical devices, and the role of critical thinking in Christian discipleship.  3 hour(s). HUM.
