ART 233 Functional Objects

The focus of this course is an introduction to the materials, concepts, and processes utilized in the design of functional objects. Throughout this course, students will endeavor to think in the language of three-dimensions and human scale utilitarian design. To be able to understand and practice this language, students will engage sequential planning and utilize a variety of materials. Prerequisite(s): ART 130  or permission of instructor. Six hours studio.  Course fee: $120. 3 hour(s).
