The core and distribution requirements for a major in psychology are those listed for the baccalaureate degree . Majors must take a designated social science course outside of the Psychology department to meet the social science distribution requirement. To graduate with a baccalaureate degree with a major in psychology, students must earn a total of 126 hours, 59 of which will come from the core curriculum and 24 of which will come from electives.

Upper Division Psychology Electives (6 hours)
Psychology majors must have an additional six hours of upper division (300-level or higher) course credit that may be selected from the above categories or from the list below. Only three hours of non-departmental credit may be applied to the upper division requirement.
