EDU 350 The Educational Thought and Practice of Charlotte Mason


A course designed to introduce students to Charlotte Mason, a latter 19th and early 20th century British educator. Masons’ ideas spawned an educational movement in England, and through the correspondence school, to thousands around the world. Recently her ideas have enjoyed a revival among Christian schools and homeschools in the United States. Students will study her ideas within their historical, philosophical, and theological contexts. 3 hour(s).
