ART 439 Mixed Media Materials

This advanced studio course is designed to explore the dissolution of boundaries between disciplines in the context of a contemporary art practice. Projects will combine techniques and materials relating to drawing, painting, installation and sculpture. Reading related critical texts, as well as exploring the progression of a phenomenological practice through arts history is emphasized. Prerequisite(s): ART 130, and ART 230, or ART 235, or ART 240 or permission of instructor. Six hours studio. Course fee: $60. Spring. 3 hour(s).
